In the midst of our Centenary celebrations, the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership (NCCL)–made up of bishops, pastors, diocesan and parish directors of religious education, academics and publishers of catechetical materials–honored the Daughters of St. Paul of the United States by choosing them to receive its Catechetical Award this year.
The award is bestowed on an individual or institution in recognition for outstanding service in the field of catechetics through innovative and successful catechetical initiatives at the parish and diocesan levels.

Our sisters were praised for their contribution to the Church’s work of catechesis and evangelization in the United States through their publishing activities, Pauline Book Centers and Pauline Center for Media Studies. We join our sisters in thanking the Lord with deep gratitude for the Province’s journey over the past 8 decades and for the new paths he is opening for the Gospel.
