The members of St. Agnes Parish, Panjim, recently participated with great enthusiasm in a Bible Week organized by the Daughters of St. Paul of Goa.
The purpose of the week was to help transform the families and homes of the faithful into privileged places for listening to and praying the Word. The various events guided by the FSPs for different groups of parishioners offered everyone the chance to get to know the Bible both individually and communitarianly. Our sisters also set up displays of Bibles, books, audiovisuals and study aids to help the people grow on the human, biblical and spiritual levels.
During the Eucharistic Celebration that concluded the Week, the participants made a pledge to read, study and lead lives according to the Word of God. Afterward, they thanked our sisters very sincerely for organizing such a meaningful and enriching week for them.
