The mission of Pauline Media Studies is to foster media literacy and media mindfulness within the fields of culture, education, and religious formation.

Founded in Boston in 1995 by Sr. Rose Pacatte, FSP, Pauline Media Studies relocated to Los Angeles in 2006. In 2015, an East Coast office was established in New York under the direction of Sr. Hosea Rupprecht, FSP. This office was later integrated into the national structure in 2022.

Pauline Media Studies is one expression of the mission of the Daughters of St. Paul: to educate and form audiences in the critical discernment of messages conveyed through traditional media as well as emerging forms of social and digital communication.
