Warsaw, Poland recently hosted Niepokalanów 2016, the XXXI International Catholic Film Festival. The 18 countries that participated in the event submitted a total of 137 films and TV programs, 19 radio programs, and 6 multimedia website programs.
The film Artystk, realized by the FSPs of Warsaw to celebrate the Institute’s Centenary of foundation, and directed by Fr. Wojciech Turek, SSP, was one of the films awarded by the jury.
In the radio category, the program Siostry (Sisters: Taking One’s Vocation Seriously) also received an award. A Daughter of St. Paul is among the 27 religious women who recount their vocation stories in this program.
