On 23 April 2015, World Book Day, the FSPs of Dusseldorf invited some of their clients and several civil authorities to an encounter in which all the participants had the chance to tell one another about a book that had changed or significantly impacted their lives. Mayor Gunter Karen-Jungen was one of the guests who participated very enthusiastically in the event.

Besides offering everyone the opportunity to exchange literary experiences, the encounter was distinguished by the presence of a huge book with a big tassel bearing the words “I am tied to this book”: in fact, the book contained a camera, which gave the participants the pleasure of taking home a “souvenir” of the day.
