The Daughters of St. Paul of Mumbai, India’s most populous city, recently organized and hosted an All-Religion Prayer and Get-Together on the theme of “Youth for Change.”
The event, which celebrates unity in diversity and serves as a platform to foster sisterhood and brotherhood between people from different religions, languages, cultures and walks of life, opened with the lighting of a lamp by representatives from various religions, followed by readings from the Bhagavad Gita, the Holy Bible and the Quran.
The 500+ people who attended the encounter included educationists, youth, students, parents and eminent personalities from all walks of life. All the participants–the younger generation in particular–were encouraged to become advocates of change, representatives of the wisdom of the people and ambassadors of peace in the world.
