Two months after super-typhoon Haiayan/Yolanda devastated the regions of Eastern Samar and Leyte, survivors are yet to reclaim normalcy in their lives, with hundreds of families still living in refugee centers and tent cities in Manila and other nearby cities.
In this difficult situation, the FSPs of Pasay, with the help of two lay collaborators, organized and carried out a Bible Mission, proclaiming the hope that only the Word can give.
About 32 families participated in the event, which centered on the theme, God is with us: ’Jesus the Word Incarnate is with us.All the participants received a copy of the Bible, along with catechetical aids and books for children.
