In May, the pre-postulants, postulants, novices, juniors and some perpetual professed sisters of the PMPT province enthusiastically participated in their annual Summer Mission, this time in St. Rita Parish, Olongapo City. The two-week apostolic event was full of activities: home-to-home visitations, catechesis for children and adults, Bible enthronements and book displays, and even visits to the sick in the hospital.
Our Pauline missionaries were touched and inspired by their encounters with the people, which brought them into first-hand contact with their pains, sufferings, struggles and difficulties, as well as their desires, hopes and dreams.
The pastor of the parish and his parishioners were very grateful to the evangelizing team and said that their time and presence in the community was invaluable because they offered everyone affection, laughter, optimism and a listening heart. In short, they brought Jesus to the lives of the people.
