The Paulines Christian Living Textbook series for the catechetical preparation of elementary school children is now complete and is currently being promoted by our sisters through Catechetical Seminar-Workshops they have organized in different parts of the Philippines.
On 21 January, thirty religious educators from 17 schools representing seven dioceses traveled to Pasay City to attend a seminar-workshop on the effective methodology and innovative strategies proposed by the series, which is already being used by several schools. Thirty-one teachers from six schools attended the same seminar held in Davao on 28 January.
The primary speaker and facilitator of these seminars is Sr. M. Antonieta Molina, FSP, the author of most of the textbooks and teacher’s manuals, assisted by other writers and consultants for the series.
The participants in the seminar-workshops all say they deeply appreciate this course, which offers them the chance to upgrade their teaching methods.
