Plunging into the Depths of the Pauline Charism

The 2011-2012 course on the Pauline Charism officially began on 27 September in the bedroom of Blessed James Alberione, now preserved as a museum. We hope this new academic year will provide its 19 participants with the grace to harmonize themselves with what our Founder felt.
The students, who come from all over the Pauline world (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Congo, Korea, Philippines, Japan, India, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, Rwanda and the island of Tonga), represent 6 branches of the Pauline Family tree. For the first time, a member of the Jesus the Priest Institute is participating in the course.
A spokesperson for the group testified to everyone’s feelings, saying in heartfelt tones: “We want to live this first year of preparation for our Centenary as a ‘favorable time’ of grace by striving to get to know our specific charisms and helping one another through mutual acceptance and the sharing ideas. We truly feel that we are a single Family and it is as the Pauline Family that we want to get to better know our mission and the apostolate the Lord has entrusted to us!”
