The FSP community of Bucharest recently celebrated a very special weekend.
On Saturday, 18 June, Sr. Paula Burcă made her perpetual profession in Sacred Heart Church in the presence of Sr. Clarice Wisniewski, FSP Vicar General. Archbishop Ioan Robu and several priests concelebrated the Eucharistic Liturgy, which was attended by many of Sr. Paula’s relatives and friends.
The following day, the little community celebrated another big event: four Romanian women concluded their Pauline formation by making their promises in the Pauline Cooperators’ Association–the first native Romanians to take this step. This very special moment was followed by an encounter featuring the presentation of Fr. Guido Gandolfo’s explanation of St. Paul’s Letter to the Philippians. With this, our sisters concluded their program of formation of the laity for 2016.
We thank the Lord for continuing to increase the Pauline Family in Romania, which now consists of the Daughters of St. Paul, the Annunciationists and the Pauline Cooperators.
