From October 15th to the 19th, 2025, the Pauline Family experienced a brief but intense mission in Palermo, organized together with the local Pauline Family in the parish of Santa Maria of Piety and the nearby sanctuary of Saint Teresa of Kalsa.
The days were enlivened by Eucharistic celebrations, daily adorations, visits to the sick and those in need, biblical cenacles in families, meetings with children and young people, and moments of catechesis and evening adoration.
The theme of holiness, the urgency to proclaim the Gospel rooted in the Word of God while attentive to the languages of modern communication, and the presentations of the Pauline Family—a precious legacy of Blessed Alberione—aroused keen interest and a desire to continue on the path of listening, prayer, and fraternity.
Particularly significant was the bond with Blessed Pino Puglisi, who was baptized in the baptismal font of the Church of Santa Maria of Piety.
These were days of true grace, marked by profound unity between a team of the Pauline Family, and the joyful witness of the parish priest, Father Giuseppe Di Giovanni, and his collaborators.
