The digital revolution is radically changing every dimension of the publishing world: production, distribution and how intellectual products are used. But this digital springtime–the theme of this year’s International Book Salon, which was held in Turin from 10-14 May 2012–extends well beyond the publishing sector to make an impact on today’s world and how people think.

The Pauline editions represented at the Salon competently reflected the theme of the digital revolution. Our FSP stand focused on the concept of “network,” starting with the Church and its interconnections with every aspect of reality, then moving on to the family–another network of relationships and values, and from there to the city, an ulterior web of mutual interactions, and finally the school, a network of experiences and knowledge.

Several significant aspects of the publishing world were highlighted, including the fact that it is not by chance that the family, city and school are also privileged places for the Pauline mission and, as a consequence, for our publications.
