The 63rd Frankfurt International Book Fair, the world’s most important publishing event, opened on 12 October 2011. FSPs representing Pauline publishing sectors from all over the world participated in the event with books and audio visuals on the Bible, spirituality, current issues, material for children, etc.

A theme that our publications–and also those of other publishers at the Fair–focused on was that of the family, considered as a basic cell of society. Many publishers also offered an array of historico-ecclesial titles on recently-beatified Pope John Paul II.

On 11 October, Marco Guzzi, director of the Crocevia (Crossroads) Series for Pauline Publications Italy, met with all the FSPs participating in the Frankfurt Fair for a formative session entitled The Spiritual Turn of the Times: Culture, Formation and the Publishing Apostolate.
