Pauline Multimedia International Book Center, Rome commemorated its 30th anniversary of foundation by celebrating the memory of its journey of grace and faith over the past three decades–a journey in which the Gospel, truth and goodness have been constantly sown from this modern pulpit.

For thirty years the Book Center, a true “window on the world,” has offered publications in various languages to readers from many countries, reaching people from about 40 nations, in the knowledge that from this place the Daughters of St. Paul and their lay staff carry out an ecclesial ministry for the contemporary world.

The Eucharistic Liturgy was presided over by Fr. Gaetano Piccolo, sj, a friend and collaborator of the sisters, and was attended by many other friends, customers and book center collaborators, all of whom manifested their gratitude to the Lord for the Center’s apostolic activities, its diffusion of the Word of God, and for the thousands of books on religion, formation and culture that the Center makes available to the public. The sisters’ daily work of evangelization is enriched by biblical animations and cultural initiatives carried out in harmony with the journey of the Church and attention to the needs of the people.

Our best wishes to our sisters and their staff for a fruitful apostolate in keeping with the guidelines of Blessed James Alberione, who said: “The Pauline book center is a temple and its staff are preachers. Light, holiness and joy are the fruits sought in Christ and in the Christian life. Your service counter is a pulpit of truth.”
