During our Centenary Year the FSPs stationed at our Motherhouse have been visiting many parishes in the Alba diocese–a part of the country that in years past gave many vocations to our Institute. As part of their visits to the families, our sisters are diffusing the Bible and renewing subscriptions to various Pauline periodicals.
Welcoming the invitation of Pope Francis and our Superior General, both of whom suggested the realization of apostolic initiatives in favor of the poor and immigrants, several sisters from the Alba community have also been managing a small book stand once a week in the local market place, where they disseminate many books at no fixed price, asking those interested to donate whatever they can. The offerings received are all being given to the diocesan Office for Migrants.
