The Daughters of St. Paul recently participated in the 37th Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), held in the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The event opened with a Eucharistic Celebration enriched by the FSP choir.

Our Paulines Publishing House booth showcased newly-released titles such as Gospel Power 2017 by Sr. Bernardita Dianzon, fsp, and the Christian Living textbook series. Its latest CDs were also on display, including the recently launched Jesus the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

MIBF, the Philippines’ largest and longest running book fair, is a good venue for evangelization since it is visited by people from all walks of life. Besides book exhibits, it offers visitors a program consisting of book launches and awards, talks on holistic living and health, storytelling sessions, writing workshops and the St. Paul Bible Quiz Championship which is now in its 7th year.

This year, Eukaristiya Kapiling si Jesus sa Tuwina by Most. Rev. Broderick Pabillo, DD, published by the FSPs, received the Cardinal Sin Catholic Book Award in the Liturgy category, while Touching Love: Thoughts and Stories by Patrick Vance S. Nogoy, sj, also published by our sisters, was one of the finalists in the Inspirational category.
