From October 26 to 28, in the city of Velehrad, the Ninth National Catechetical Congress took place, entitled, “Living the faith and tradition of Cyril and Methodius.” Having this Congress on the anniversary of Cyril and Methodius, highlighted in a particular way the Year of Faith, the Synod on the New Evangelization and the needs of the local church.
In addition to the contribution of numerous experts, we were able to participate in workshops and seminars, and become familiar with books, magazines and catechetical subsidies.
The FSP of the community of Prague took an active participation in this ecclesial event with an exhibit of books and films. The sisters also guided two workshops: Youth, Media, Catechesis and The Bible as GPS on the Road of Life. The Conference proved to be an important and significant moment for exchanging experiences and sharing ideas.
