From11-14 April, a meeting for the “Under 60s” of the FSP Italian Province was held at the Benedictine Abbey of Novalesa, Turin. Eight sisters from three nations (Italy, Colombia and the Congo) participated in the event. The prior of the abbey, Brother Michael David Semeraro, delivered a talk on the theme: Not Perfect but Happy: A Prophetic Consecrated Life, and FSP Provincial Superior, Sr. Annunciata Bestetti, dedicated an ample amount of time to developing the topic Fragile Future, Possible Future, sharing ideas with the participants about the future of the Italian Province. The themes of both talks reflected the reality of the Church, the Congregation and today’s world.

The topic regarding the proximate future of the FSP Italian Province invited us to open our minds and hearts to the Holy Spirit, who makes all things new, and to open our eyes to what is happening in the world, encouraging us to look for the signs of the times in contemporary society and to reach out to all people by bringing them the Word of God.
