A very prestigious annual appointment in the publishing world is the Frankfurt International Book Fair (“FrankfurterBuchmesse”), which this year celebrates its 65th anniversary of foundation. 7000 publishers from 90 different countries participated in this year’s edition of the Fair, held from 9-13 October 2013. Its program included 3000 events and facilitated contact among authors, publishers, distributors and book agents.

The guest of honor this year was Brazil, “a land with a wealth of voices,” whose exhibitors showcased the country’s great cultural creativity.
