Fr. Dominic Soliman (Superior General of the Society of St. Paul) and Sr. Anna Caiazza (Superior General of the Daughters of St. Paul) left Rome together for Korea and are now making their Fraternal Visits to the members of their Institutes in that country. It was a very meaningful departure, reminiscent of the days when Fr. Alberione and Prima Maestra Thecla would make joint Visits to various Pauline circumscriptions.

The current Fraternal Visit began with an animation event held on Ash Wednesday, in which the participants were urged to open their hearts to the providence of the Holy Spirit as a preparation for living in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul today.

In the morning, Fr. Dominic Soliman gave a talk on The Joy of Sharing the Same Dreams, in which he encouraged the assembly to return to the dreams and visions of Blessed James Alberione, emphasizing that members of all generations can dream together and cultivate an intimate relationship with the Lord (cf. Joel 3).

He also explained how the message of Pope Francis for the 58th World Day of Communications, entitled Artificial Intelligence and Wisdom of the Heart: for a fully human communication, allows us to reflect on the timely question raised by Blessed James Alberione: “Where is humanity going?” by applying it to the peoples and cultures of the digital age.

After the conference, the participants gathered in small groups to share their reflections and voice their dreams.

In the afternoon, Sr. Anna Caiazza spoke on the theme Dialogue in the Holy Spirit, inviting everyone to carry out this type of dialogue, which is the icon of communication. She opened her talk by saying it is the Spirit who enriches the Pauline Family with the passion of the Apostle Paul, and then went on to guide a group reflection on several spiritual and apostolic aspects of the life of Blessed James Alberione.

The day-long encounter, animated by two major superiors of the PF, was truly historic. It was clear that, through their words, the Lord was prompting everyone to keep the flame of the Holy Spirit alive in the hearts of all Paulines.

The Society of St. Paul and the Daughters of St. Paul, born together from a seed that developed into the great “tree” of the Pauline Family, prayed together that, as apostles of the Word and of communications, they would succeed in bringing the great gift of God they had received through our Founder to the people of today.
