The digital Pontifical Yearbook, the official Holy See platform with daily updated data on bishops, dioceses, religious institutes, and papal representations, has been online since December 8, 2025. It is accessible from computers and mobile devices, and designed for curiae, episcopal conferences, scholars, and journalists.
Created in 1860 and rooted in the tradition of Liber Pontificalis, the Yearbook is now entering a new digital phase, expanding research possibilities, and ensuring continual updated information. Presented to the Pope, the platform offers a faster and more immediate way to access official data on cardinals, bishops, dioceses, and religious institutes, transcending the limitations of the annual paper edition.
The service is available at www.annuariopontificio.catholic and via iOS and Android apps. A dedicated email address—annuariopontificio@sds.va—allows users to submit comments and suggestions for constant improvement of the platform.
