From March 31 to April 2, Italian writer Daniele Mencarelli visited Lisbon to present the Portuguese edition of Everyone Seeks Salvation, published by Paulinas Editora. Throughout his visit, Mencarelli shared a message of hope and fraternity, engaging with students, academics, and a wider online audience.
The main event took place at the College of St. John of Brito, run by the Jesuit Fathers, with support from the Italian Cultural Institute. In dialogue with participants, Mencarelli reflected on themes of suffering and the human search for meaning. The Paulines sisters, along with the Italian Embassy and the Jesuits, expressed their gratitude for the message of hope he offered, trusting that the seed sown through his words may grow and become a source of “salvation” for all.
