The Pauline Family of Korea gathered together to celebrate a closing Mass for the PF’s Vocation Year. Presided over by Fr. Hwang Ignatio, Provincial Superior of the Society of St Paul, the Liturgy was introduced by a video on the theme of the Pact, produced by the FSP community of Daegu. The video, entitled A Great Father and a Little Child, won first prize in the competition organized at the suggestion of the Institute’s General Government.

In his homily, Fr. Hwang said: “This Vocation Year was celebrated during the Year dedicated to our Pact with God. The secret of success is to do everything in the will of the Lord…. Once saved, we can be sent to proclaim the Gospel. So let us let go of our worries and ask for the grace to be always faithful.”

All the young people in formation in the whole Pauline Family harmoniously sang: Here, I am Lord, to praise and thank him for having inspired and guided their vocation.

Thus ended a year that helped everyone to rediscover the mystery of the Pauline vocation, to feel the beauty of offering oneself as a total gift to the cause of the Gospel, to go forth and meet young people, and to pray and reflect on living together in joy and communion.
