On the occasion of World Book and Copyright Day 2022, the Daughters of St. Paul were invited to an important event for the publishing world, organized by the French Institute of Madagascar. Those invited to participate were publishers who had completed a training course on books for children and young people with the aim of promoting, through the Ressources Éducatives Project, the reading and production of local texts.

With this goal in mind, our sisters recently published a book of poems for children in two languages (Malagasy and French), entitled Tiako ny zavaboaary (I Love Nature), by Sr. Véronique Rasoamampihonona, fsp. The illustrated poems can help children to admire, love and protect nature’s treasures. WBCD also gave readers the chance to meet the authors of several of the books published by our sisters. The authors willingly autographed their books for their fans.
