“Bes, Love Ka Ni Lord” Version 1.0 by Rev. Reynald Atienza, published by the FSPs of the Philippines, was chosen as the winner for the Youth Ministry Category during the Cardinal Sin Catholic Book Awards held at the 39th Manila International Book Fair (September 2018). The book is a collection of inspirational stories based on the author’s personal experiences of prayer and work with young people. It contains simple pieces of advice and is rich in material for daily prayers and reflections.
With publications like this one, our sisters are striving to promote Filipino creative talent by giving their support to local authors in their endeavor to respond to the needs of the people in the local context and culture. Their participation in the annual Manila International Book Fair alongside other Christian book publishers is viewed as an important opportunity to diffuse the Gospel and value-laden books that are relevant to the Christian and spiritual formation of the people.
