Each year, the FSP book center of Manaus organizes a campaign to donate the Bible to one of the poorest ecclesial communities in the country.
This year, in collaboration with other institutions, priests, friends and above all book center clients, it was possible for them to donate 131 Bible to the St. Francis Sanctuary in Anamã, Amazzonia.
If it is true that families, the Church and society make progress thanks to the light and power of the Word, then the commitment of the FSPs and all their collaborators to offering that Word to the most needy members of society is an example that Catholics in other parts of the country and world can imitate because “one does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Mt. 4:4).
