A new Pauline bookcenter was born in the diocese of Yopougon in Abidjan, right in the most populated city of the Ivory Coast, which is also the principal commercial center of this country.

The inauguration took place on October 26, in the presence of Bishop Laurent Akra Mandjo, the Bishop of Yopougon, and his auxiliary, Bishop Jean Salomon Lezoutié, as well as the diocesan vicar general, Monsignor Camille N’Drin. The opening of this new bookcenter at the service of the Gospel was an ecclesial moment of noteworthy significance for our sisters of Abidjan and for our entire delegation of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Ivory Coast. More than 400 persons participated at this event; among them were collaborators and cooperators, friends, acquaintances, religious, priests and laity.

After the inauguration, they were also able to visit the new cultural center, that is, the hall that the bookcenter will be offering to everyone as a gathering place for dialogue and human formation, culture and evangelization.
