The Vatican Television Center (CTV) received a special award at Eutelsat TV’s 2015 Awards ceremony “for leveraging Ultra HD to deliver industry-leading quality of historic papal events to a global congregation.”
Msgr. Dario Edoardo Viganò, the prefect of the Secretariat for Communications and the director of CTV, dedicated the award “to the wonderful CTV team,” which, he underscored, is made up of top-grade professionals who humbly realize that their work is destined for the entire world.”
Msgr. Viganò then went on to say that the whole world acknowledges Pope Francis as a person capable of instilling fresh hope in everyone. He concluded: “My gratitude and prayers to all my colleagues here at CTV and to all those who collaborate with its projects.”
