Open free of charge to the public in the Vatican’s Braccio di Carlo Magno Museum from 2 April–22 June: the Verbum Domini II Display, containing almost 200 ancient Biblical texts and rare manuscripts, including the 14th/15th century Bodmer Papyrus, which contains a written fragment of the Gospel of Luke, the oldest “Our Father” known, and one of the oldest written fragments of the Gospel of John.

The display gives its visitors the chance to view for the first time texts of incalculable historical value, including fragments from the books of the prophets Daniel, Ezekiel and Jeremiah from the Dead Sea Scroll collection–the most ancient texts of the Hebrew Scriptures so far discovered.
