The Daughters of St. Paul of Mexico have taken a courageous step in deciding to open a book center in the business district of Nuevo Laredo, a city which faces Laredo, Texas (USA) across the Rio Grande River, which divides the two countries.
The decision is courageous because the whole Mexico-US border zone is fraught with violence and insecurity due to the problem of illegal immigrants and the illegal shipping of goods. Thus, our sisters have begun the Year of Faith by opening a new diffusion outlet, accompanied by a bold evangelization project which has been enthusiastically welcomed by the Local Church and its flock.
With this step, the FSPs of Mexico have kindled the lamp of hope for all those seeking the truth and have extended their radius of doing good among the people of God.
