The TICS and Proexport Ministry of Colombia organized a program on formation to transmedia storytelling–an innovative and complex way of telling a story across multiple platforms and formats using digital technologies.
At the end of the 120-hour program, all the participating publishing houses were required to present a project. The FSP team that took part in the event was made up of sisters representing various areas of the apostolate: book and multimedia publishing, our virtual book center and the marketing sector.
The project they presented was awarded first prize as “best digital project”: a Bible program for children realized in collaboration with our sisters of Venezuela. The project visualizes the Bible’s account of creation in various digital languages and formats: video, games, e-books, apps, networking, QR codes and web sites, and focuses on themes such as the environment, care for animals, etc.
Our sisters hope that this innovative project will foster dissemination of digital content in various applications through our virtual book center and e-commerce.
