In close collaboration with the Local Church, the FSPs of Rawalpindi are helping to form young people in the areas of communications and pastoral work, using as a home base our St. Paul Communications Center, located in the city.
Following a period of formation, the young men and women, members of St. Joseph Cathedral (headquarters of the Bishop for Islamabad-Rawalpindi), have undertaken a concrete mission with the intention of “giving life to the diocese”–a territory in which Christians have been under threat and persecution for a long time.
Using Facebook, they have made an optimum contribution to the diocesan website, as well as to the sites of the Daughters of St. Paul and their own group. The name of this new youth team, the Timothians, was chosen in honor of Blessed Timothy Giaccardo.
