To celebrate the first anniversary of the election of Pope Francis, the Daughters of St. Paul of Johannesburg organized a meeting on the theme, Thinking Like a Jesuit, Guiding Like Francis: What Pope Francis’ Style of Ignatian Leadership Offers Us Today.

Fr. Anthony Egan, SJ, spoke on the subject with great competence not only because he too is a Jesuit but also because of his knowledge of politics, sociology and moral theology, together with his renowned work at the universities of Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Fr. Egan’s ample treatment of this particular theme can serve to open new doors to all those who hold leadership roles in the Church and in society.
