The Russian Pilgrim, one of the classics of Christian spirituality published by St. Paul Editions, Spain, was recently presented to the public by Brother
Pepe Pedregosa, ssp, at a book launch in our Valladolid book center. Brother Pepe, who edited this latest version of the text, conducted the book launch in a very dynamic and original way: he appeared in the conference hall dressed as a pilgrim, carrying a backpack and a Bible.
He then proceeded to read aloud some of the more significant passages of the book, involving the audience by encouraging its members to join him in praying the prayer of the heart and to feel themselves personally called to undertake a spiritual journey designed to help them emerge from the anonymity in which modern society lives.
