The Daughters of St. Paul of Korea have published The New American Bible Revised Edition 2011 for Burundi (Africa). The translation is that of the U.S. Bishops Conference, with graphics by the FSPs.
So as to promote this publication and foster its diffusion within the nation, our sisters of Korea have organized events and encounters centered on a prayerful reading of the Bible. This Christmas, for every five copies of the new edition diffused in South Korea, one copy of the text will be donated to a library in Burundi.
The initiative is proving to be very successful. In fact, many people are sending donations to our sisters so as to share the Word of God with the people of this country.
