The Pauline Multimedia Center, Rome recently held an encounter to present the public with information concerning the musical L’Amore quello vero (That True Love), which aims to bring the world of youth the Gospel message lived eight centuries ago by Francis and Clare of Assisi. In joyously living the Gospel, these two young people found the precious pearl of a genuine love that possesses nothing and gives everything.
The work was presented by the Music Division of FSP Publishing Italy, which is producing a CD of the musical. Also present for the occasion were the authors and actors of the musical, who made a lively and meaningful contribution to the encounter. The troup is now staging the musical in various cities throughout Italy, including Assisi–the Franciscan site par excellence–where their performance on 4 October enhanced the festivities for the Feast of St. Francis.
