From 21-28 November 2014, eighty-eight people from all the world’s continents and representing every Institute of the PF took part in the third pilgrimage programmed for the Centenary Year of the Pauline Family. United in love for Blessed James Alberione and the Pauline charism, the participants were a true blend of cultures, languages and age groups.

The pilgrimage began at the Divine Master Retreat House, Ariccia, Italy, which opened its doors to welcome everyone to a unique experience of living and praying together. The pilgrims then set out for Alba to visit the sites of our Pauline beginnings, retracing the footsteps of the Founder from his birth at San Lorenzo di Fossano, to Alba, to Narzole….
The group then returned to Rome to joyously celebrate the Centenary of the foundation of the Pauline Family–concluding this landmark event with a special audience with Pope Francis. Thousands of members of the PF, collaborators, friends and sympathizers gathered in the Paul VI Audience Hall where they eagerly awaited the entrance of the Pope in a spirit of unity rooted in their common service to the Church through the Pauline charism.

Pope Francis encouraged all the “children” of Fr. Alberione to continue to live and proclaim Jesus Master, Way, Truth and Life through the specific mission of the Pauline Family, carried out in profound communion and joy.
