Talitha Kum: 10 Years Online against Human Trafficking

Get to your feet! This command, addressed not only to individuals but also to society as a whole, perfectly sums up the identity of Talitha Kum, the international network of consecrated women against human trafficking set up by UISG (the International Union of Women Superiors General). This year the anti-trafficking network is celebrating its tenth anniversary of foundation. For the occasion, a general assembly was held in Rome from 21-27 September, bringing together 86 delegates from 48 countries. Years of activity and tireless work emerged in the recounting of ten success stories collected by the many women religious working on the front line against human trafficking around the world. These testimonials of life, courage, denunciation and hope urge us to continue together the long journey toward freedom and the promotion of the dignity of every person.
