The logo for the Year of Faith is composed of a square, bordered field on which a boat, symbolizing the Church, is depicted sailing over the waves. The main mast of the boat is a cross from which sails are displayed in the form of dynamic signs which compose the trigram of Christ (IHS). Behind sails is a sun which, associated with the trigram, also refers to the Eucharist.

The multilingual website for the event, www.annusfidei.va, can be accessed directly by current mobile technologies.

The chorus of the official hymn, Credo, Domine, is a plea to the Lord to increase everyone’s faith.

The pastoral aid for the Year of Faith, Living the Year of Faith, presently undergoing translation into various languages, can help to accompany parish communities and all those who want to come to a more profound understanding of the Creed.

A small picture of Christ (from the Cathedral of Cefalù in Sicily, Italy), with a profession of faith on its reverse side, has been printed for the use of pilgrims and believers throughout the world.
