In preparation for the 46th World Communications Day, the Daughters of St. Paul of Bucharest visited different schools in Moldova (a small country northeast of Romania), equipped with an animation program for children and teens adapted to various age groups.

Basing themselves on the Message of Pope Benedict XVI, our sisters guided reflections for the students on the quality of online and offline communications and on the value of silence in communicating with God, with oneself and within the communications process itself. The young people showed great interest in the talks, which reinforced their awareness of the need to learn more about how to use the media and about the quality of human and Christian life in the digital world.

Our sisters also conducted a meeting in our FSP book center in Bucharest on the theme, Silence and Word in Our Life, during which they presented G. Colombero’s book, From Words to Dialogue, published by Pauline Editions. The encounter, held in a family atmosphere of reflection and sharing, was deeply appreciated by the participants.
