On 11 February the countries of Europe celebrated Safer Internet Day, established by the European Commission to promote the safer and more responsible use of online technology.
This year’s theme, Let’s Create a Better Internet Together, reminds everyone that in order to make the Internet safer, adults and young people must dialogue with one another.
Each generation is invited to discover the online world, to create it together and to do so in a safer way by placing their experiences and resources in common. If this happens, then the result will be the building of a unified digital culture and “citizenship.”
