Every day during the Jubilee Year of Mercy, the rosary is recited at 5:30 p.m. in St. Peter’s Square under the towering statue of the Apostle. It is guided by representatives of various Roman parishes, religious institutes and confraternities.
On Monday, 7 November 2016, this beloved Marian prayer was led by members of the FSP Generalate community, who entrusted to our Mother of Mercy every Pauline presence throughout the world, in the certitude that: “No one has penetrated the profound mystery of the Incarnation like Mary. Her entire life was patterned after the presence of mercy made flesh. The Mother of the crucified and risen One has entered the sanctuary of divine mercy because she participated intimately in the mystery of his love” (MV 24).
