Beginning 29 June, the Pauline Family web site, alberione.org, will have a new lay out. Purpose of the change: to update the site and adapt its content and interfacing to various pc technologies.
Some of the innovations:
– automatic adaptation to mobile units such as smartphones, tablets, iphones, etc.);
– addition of the social networking platform;
– separate pages for news about the different Institutes of the PF and for comments;
– insertion of tags to highlight the principal subjects treated or key words in the text;
– multimedia space for video/audio material and pictures.
Some of the already-existing pages have been enriched or modified (picture gallery, documents, Pauline books and magazines, contacts for the various Institutes, common in-formation concerning the PF, the deceased).
And new pages have been added:
– The Alberione Library, containing resource material about Fr. Alberione not included in his Opera Omnia (which contains resource material by the Founder);
– Pauline testimonies, edited by the Postulator General;
– Course on the Charism of the Pauline Family;
– Churches and Retreat Houses of the PF;
– Addresses of the PF.
It is hoped that the new alberione.org web site, which was updated by the PF team in charge of the site, will respond more effectively to the needs of the Pauline Family and its presence online.
