After nine years of work, Ny Baiboly Masina Katôlika, the new Catholic Bible in Malagasy, has been published. This is the first edition with introductions, commentaries, and biblical references adapted to the local cultural context.
The official launch took place on November 9, 2025, in the Church of St. Francis Xavier in Antanimena, in the presence of nearly all the bishops of Madagascar. The event, attended by numerous faithful, concluded with the celebration of Holy Mass.
Distribution of this BIble began in December, and has been welcomed with great interest by Christian communities. Presentations are planned in various dioceses to promote the text’s dissemination among families.
