From 8-9 October 2016, Turin celebrated the 10th edition of its annual open-air book fair, entitled Paper Arcades. The world’s longest “book center,” the display wound through the arcades of three of the city’s main public areas: Via Roma, Piazza San Carlo and Piazza Carlo Felice. The Daughters of St. Paul could not fail to be present at this 2 km. (about 1½ mile) book display, set up by more than 120 book stores and publishing houses. The event was attended by an unceasingy flow of people, including on Saturday night (8 Oct.), when the stands were all open until midnight. Our sisters tell us it was a wonderful experience!
