World Book and Author’s Rights Day 2013 is being celebrated with the cry: “Haul out your used books and put them at the disposition of others–an exchange among friends and neighbors! Share your books! Let everyone know your love for reading! Help others discover your favorite books and the ones that have made the greatest impact on you.”
The clients and friends of our Montreal Book Center responded to this invitation with enthusiasm and as a result more than 800 titles are experiencing a “second life.” They will be donated to organizations that don’t have the financial means to restock their libraries.
