On 15 October 2012, a meeting on the theme, Blessed James Alberione: Offering Everyone the Charity of the Truth, was held in the Pastoral Center of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Trieste.
The meeting was the second of four in a cycle entitled, Charity in Daily Life, promoted by the 10th Conference of St. Vincent De Paul and dedicated to reflecting more deeply on contemporary figures who have witnessed by means of their holy lives, inspiring words and apostolic works to the abundant forms of charitable service that the Holy Spirit continues to raise up in the Church today.
The talk of Sr. Bruna Fregni, fsp, underscored the characteristics of charity as lived and taught by Blessed James Alberione; his relationship with Christ the Master, Way, Truth and Life, Word and Eucharist; the socio-pastoral dimension of his activities; the breadth of his apostolic vision and the timeliness of his message for the Church as she begins the Year of Faith.
