With the opening of a small book center in Holy Family Hospital, Okhla, New Delhi, the Daughters of St. Paul have established another center of light, love and prayer that they hope will touch the lives of many people in this huge city.
The Paulines were welcomed with comments such as: “We are very happy to have you, sisters. Your book center provides us with the things we want. Thank you for your presence.” This type of reception has encouraged our sisters to hope that the little shop, located near the entrance to the building, will attract a lot of visitors because they are convinced that the hospital’s personnel, patients and visitors all need to find the message of Christ in this place of suffering. They say: “We feel blessed to serve the Lord with our mission. We ask you all to continue to pray for us so that we will be able to reach many people here and continue the work of the Lord Jesus, who gave us this mission.”
