From 4-8 December, the 18th edition of More Books, More Freedom, Italy’s National Fair for Small and Medium-Sized Publishing Houses, took place in Rome. The 5-day Fair, promoted and organized by the Italian Publishers Association, is a cultural initiative recognized both nationally and internationally.

This year more than 520 exhibitors from all over the country presented their new products and catalogues to the public. The program included readings, debates, musical performances and meetings with authors and professionals. Many moments were dedicated to exploring the relationship between information and contemporary issues.

As always, the Daughters of St. Paul were present with a wide assortment of publishing proposals, with a special orientation toward the Christmas season. In line with this year’s theme, The Borders of Europe, almost all the events encouraged the participants to reflect on identity, dialogue, values, coexistence and immigration.
